About Us
This website was established by the Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law, a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, CA, that focuses on the human rights and domestic civil rights of insular minorities including immigrants, refugees, children, and indigenous peoples.
In addition to providing a wide range of information on issues relating to unaccompanied immigrant children, this site is also intended to facilitate networking among advocates and institutions engaged in issues relating to migrant children.
In order to promote a better understanding of why migrant children
leave their homes, communities, and countries, and the obstacles they
face migrating to the United States, the project will soon take steps
to facilitate an international meeting of advocates from several
countries in North, Central and South America addressing social and
legal issues impacting on migrant children. If interested, please email
us.
